Penny Pincher Tips | |
Here are some great tips I found for you. —Julie
- Use the drum out of an old washing machine for a burning pit. After you take it out of the washer, you will note that it is full of small holes and has a larger hole in the bottom. This allows for great air flow. Just take a couple of large rocks to set it up on, load it with some wood and light it. One really great advantage of this burner is that there are very few sparks and it is safer for small children. You get a really hot, concentrated burn that is nice to sit around. It will even burn out in the pouring rain! —connie886 Add a Comment
- My kids are in college now, but when I used to put cupcakes in their school lunches I always just cut the cupcake in half horizontally and turned the top upside down. That put the frosting in the middle of the cupcake, but I didn't have to do anything special to the whole batch to have that happen. The frosting doesn't stick to the wrap you use, but the taste is all there! —EarringAddict Add a Comment
- I save the snack-size Pringle cans with lids—they are the perfect size for transporting your cupcakes or muffins. —AUNTSAM00 Add a Comment
